Welcome to Confidence In Heels

Helping YOU to build your confidence and self-belief so you achieve your full potential at work

First, let me ask you this.

  • Do you dread getting up in the morning to go to work, already feeling stressed and anxious about what the day may hold?
  • Do you worry about what other people think of you and yearn for the day when you care less and get accepted more?
  • Are you like a rabbit in the headlights?  Paralysed by fear.  Not making decisions or taking action because you worry that you will get it wrong and people will laugh at you or think you incompetent?  Yet you dream about being decisive and a leader that everyone looks up to?

If you do, you're not alone.

Confidence In Heels was created just for you.

I believe you already have confidence within you.  It's time for YOU to shine.

Waking up each morning, bouncing out of bed and as you drink your first coffee of the day, feel excited about what the day could bring.

Grabbing your handbag, snatching up your keys and taking yourself off for a guilt-free lunchtime indulgence that renews your spirit and soul

Meeting your girlfriends for a drink after work.  As you drink your cocktail, you can't wait to tell them all about your new dream job.

We all have a story to tell...

This is mine...

I'm what's termed a 'woman of a certain age' whatever the hell that actually means, who has been married for 27 years to my long-suffering husband, Julian.  We live in Berkshire, not far from, Windsor which is one of my favourite towns.  We have three dogs.  Two Boston Terriers, Bonnie (10), Reuben (5) and a very naughty Pug called Frank - age indeterminate as he is a rescue.

I went to University to study Law, but decided against pursuing that career - and, before you ask, it had nothing to do with the wig!  While taking my very first temporary job, I fell into HR.  I stayed in HR for the next 30 years, becoming CIPD qualified and obtaining my coaching certification.

At the time, I was busy climbing the corporate management ladder, working long hours and having no social life.  My husband and I were basically ships that passed in the night.  I was obsessed with work and became a workaholic.

But, in 2016, stress got the better of me, and I became ill. I thought my world had ended, and when my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I decided to take a step back from my career. I didn't realise then how this would be the beginning of a more exciting life that was in tune with how I wanted to live. One I never imagined could be possible.

I believe everything happens for a reason. For me, it was the realisation I was not doing the work that I wanted to do.  For me, my passion has always been learning and development.

The corporate world I called my home is now behind me. But I learned so many valuable lessons from being a part of it and worked with some fantastic people. So I take with me 30 years of experience as a senior HR Manager, trainer and qualified coach.

I'm on a mission to help women to realise their potential at work.  To help them overcome the doubts holding them back, so they ooze with self-belief and confidence in who they are and what they do.

To help women create a balance between the demands of a career and their own self-care.

Let me help you:

  • Discover who you really are
  • Build the confidence to believe in yourself so you can excel at work
  • Unmask your unique superpowers so you can shine at whatever you do.

I know there is a way to live a better life.

Let me show you how.

I love hearing from you!
